Teething-Each night I am reminded how much she is growing as I hear her cry an
d cry over teething. This has not been fun, and some nights has been outright miserable....but I guess we still have a while to go as she only has 6 teeth at this point. Motrine helps...nightly dosage....
We are beginning to brush her teeth at night, and she likes this and thinks it is funny.
Diet- it's hard to hold her down and make her eat. She is so active she doesn't like to be "trapped" in her highchair to eat. So, we do what we can to get her to eat. I even tried using our food processor (wedding gift that had never been used until now) to make her baby food out of fresh fruit. I'm proud that I tried, and will use here and there, but didn't see a big difference in her eating habbits. For now she still doesn't like texture, so doesn't like baby food stage 3 items yet (these include items with meat chunks in them).
Also SAVE-The-Date!
We are planning to do a b-day party for her on Oct 16th (actual bday is Oct 20th) in the AM from 10am-12:30pm at Virginia Park. No invitations out yet, on my to-do list...but it will be a "Little Critter" party, so we hope friends will bring their "critters" all dressed up in their halloween costumes, as Araceli will be in her Lady Bug costume! Hope you can come!
I was getting ready to move you to my rarely updates section... HOLY COW she's getting big and so dang cute! isaw a video that MIke posted on FB with her touching the TV. Your world is changing ever so quickly! Hugs to you all!
