Giggles!

Well, we made it through the terrible rain storms here in CA this week. We are lucky though...we never lost power and a lot of others did. Mike had to work 2 late nights and all day Sunday to restore phone systems that went down due to power outages. And we were cooped up in the house most of the week, except for Thursday when we went for a play date at Beth's house with Emma and baby Tommy!

Celi's accomplishments of the week:
1) Araceli is learning to use her hands and becoming more aware of being able to grab things in her hands and hold them. She sits in her bouncer and grabs at the toys hanging above (loves her snoopy that Tio Jake and Tia Cyn got for her), and her Lion that crackles! She also has a cloth book (Squishy Turtle) that she likes to hold.
2) Celi can hold her own bottle! She holds it in her hands and showed me her trick..she takes it out of her mouth..then puts it back in..then takes it out..and back in...meanwhile, starring at me, as if to say "look at my trick!" I think she is so excited that she can do this!
3) She giggled at us!! She did it for me when I changed her diaper on Thursday, then she did it for Mike on Friday night and then one more time tonight in front of both of us! Wow, to hear her laugh was just amazing and too cute!!
This was quite a week!
